Send free upgrades to your Nokia 2760.
Providing support for applications like the calendar, phone book, image management and audio files, Nokia's device software requires regular upgrades that further enhance the usability of the handset. One of the more common methods for updating your device is by connecting it to your computer and downloading the upgrade through the web. However, if you are without a computer or high speed Internet, it is also possible to request that Nokia send you an upgrade package directly to your Nokia 2760. The process is fast and simple.
Instructions
1. Detach the back panel of your Nokia 2760 and remove the battery. On a piece of paper, write down the digits following "CODE," printed on the white laminate plate beneath the battery plate.
2. Replace the battery and back panel and activate your Nokia 2760. When the 2760 has finished loading, type "*#0000#" into the keypad and press "Send."
3. Select "Options" and click "Check for Updates." Nokia will automatically send you the free upgrade.
4. Follow the instructions provided by the automated installation. When the process is complete your Nokia 2760 will be successfully upgraded.
