Connect A Jawbone Headset

So you want to connect a jawbone headset to a bluetooth cell phone. Jawbone products have been consistently rated among the highest bluetooth headsets in terms of clarity of both sound and microphone clarity. Doing the initial connection, or "pairing" the two units only takes a couple of minutes. Once paired, simply push a button every time you wish to use it, and it will find your phone automatically.

Instructions

1. Visit your phone's Bluetooth menu, and determine add or pair a new device, but don't do it yet. For more information as to how exactly to do this, check your phone's manual.

2. Hold down the on/off button of your Jawbone headset for five to 10 seconds, or until the headset begins to flash white and red. The on/off button is usually in the middle of the headset, somewhat hidden, but you can feel it by running your finger over the surface.

3. On your cell phone, click on the button that allows you to pair or add a new device. Your phone will then find your headset.

4. Enter the pass code of "0000" when prompted by your phone.

5. Your phone should now be paired with your headset. To turn the headset on or off, hold down the on/off button until the headset makes an audible beep. When the beep is short, your headset is turned on; when the beep is long, the headset is turned off.
