Unlock A Nokia 6030 Tmobile Cell Phone

By default, your Nokia 6030 mobile phone is locked to your phone provider's network. There are codes, however, that you can obtain that allow you to connect your phone to any network. To get such a code, you can call your phone's provider and ask them for it. If they do not give you the code, you can purchase one from a third-party website. Keep in mind, however, that whatever you decide to do, you need to know your phone's International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number. You also need to have a subscriber identity module (SIM) card from another network.

Instructions

Unlock With Provider

1. Enter "*#06#" with the phone's keypad to find out its IMEI number. Write this number down.

2. Call your phone's provider. Speak with a customer representative and give him your phone's IMEI number. Ask the representative for the unlock code and, if he gives you the code, write it down.

3. Remove the battery from the back of the phone and remove the phone's SIM card. Insert a SIM card from another network in its place. Enter the unlock code you received (if the representative gave you one) when prompted. A message stating that the SIM restriction is removed should appear on the screen.
