Fix A Nokia N95 With 8gb Phone When The Upgrade Died

If you performed an upgrade of your Nokia N95 mobile device and something went wrong, it could have a negative impact on the performance of the device. In such a case, you can try a soft reset of the device, which is resetting the device without losing all of your customized settings and downloaded files and programs. If that does not work, you may need to perform a hard reset of the device, which does erase all your settings. Both a soft reset and a hard reset can be performed by entering in a code, while a hard reset can also be performed by holding certain keys.

Instructions

Use Codes to Reset

1. Soft-reset the device by using the keypad to enter in the *#7370# code.

2. Hard-reset the device by using the keypad to enter in the *#7780# code.

3. Wait for the device to reboot.

Manually Hard Reboot

4. Turn the device off (if it is not already off).

5. Press and hold the "Call Answer" key (the green button on the keypad), the "*" key and the "3" key. Turn on the device while holding these keys.

6. Continue holding the keys until the device resets.
