The Sidekick Slide is multimedia cell phone available only for T-Mobile subscribers. The back part of the device includes the battery compartment and the slot for SIM cards. It is important to know open the back of your Sidekick Slide cell phone if you need to install a new battery or replace your SIM card. Opening the back of your Sidekick Slide cell phone is a quick and simple process that takes seconds to complete.
Instructions
1. Press and hold the power button located on the bottom right corner on your phone for a few seconds. This turns off your Sidekick Slide.
2. Turn your Sidekick Slide over until the back is facing up, and place it on flat surface, such as a table. Press down on the back cover and pull it out toward you to remove it. You should see the battery in the battery compartment.
3. Remove the battery from the battery compartment. You should see the SIM card in the card slot. To remove the SIM card, slide it out of the slot. To replace the SIM card, simply slide the new card into the card slot. Place the battery back into the battery compartment. Replace the cover and push it until it snaps back into place.
