Nokia 6267 Bluetooth Options

Nokia provides many Bluetooth options for its 6267 cell phone.

The Nokia 6267 phone is a clamshell-type phone manufactured for international markets. The phone is not for sale at retailers in the United States, but it does work with U.S. cell phone service providers. Features of the Nokia 6267 include a memory card, a 2.0 megapixel camera and 3G capabilities. The phone is also Bluetooth enabled and works with two types of Bluetooth headsets to provide hands-free calling options for users. Using a Bluetooth device is a safe way to make phone calls while driving or an easy way to make phone calls while keeping your hands free at work.

About Nokia 6267 Bluetooth Headsets

There are two Bluetooth headsets that work with the Nokia 6267 cell phone. The first is a Nokia BH-801, an updated version of the popular BH-800. This headset is sleek and small with an additional ear loop and metal strap attachment, as well as an attractive chrome finish. The Nokia BH-101 is a simple Bluetooth headset that can be used on most Bluetooth-enabled Nokia phones. Due to its simplicity of design, it is available at a more affordable price than the newer, sleeker BH-801.

Bluetooth Sound Quality

The Nokia 6267's Bluetooth options feature varying qualities of sound. While the BH-801 has a good incoming sound quality, its size may hinder the clarity of the outgoing sound, especially in windy or loud conditions. Similarly, BH-101 users have also reported a somewhat lower call quality in loud environments. The sound quality of both Bluetooth headsets is improved by limiting background noise while making phone calls. Though both Bluetooth headsets can remain connected wirelessly to the phone for up to 30 feet, sound quality is improved by keeping the phone within a range of 15 feet.

Additional Bluetooth Features

Both the Nokia BH-801 and the Nokia BH-101 feature in-ear speakers with a wraparound ear strap for added protection against the Bluetooth falling out. The battery for the BH-101 can be used for over eight hours of continuous use before requiring recharging. Battery life for the BH-101 is from six to eight hours of continuous use. The BH-801 has a volume control switch located on the main frame of the ear piece for easy volume adjustment. Users of the BH-801 have reported that the power button is small and can be difficult to access without using a fingernail.
